The metal mounting bracket is black power coated and attaches the feeder to the already proven and compact heavy-duty black ABS base and tower,
The Super Feeder® could also be used with a home automation system and/or web based system,
It is compact and holds 4 and 3/4 cups of food (slightly over a quart by volume),
Its capacity can be increased later with extra stackable 2-cup clear extensions or 1,

If you have a really aggressive “locksmith” cat when it comes to trying to get to the food, the installled optional chute cover (protective device) will put him/her out of business! Small 1/4″ round/square kibbles are recommended with the chute cover,

Small 1/4″ round kibbles like offered by Science Diet or other brands are recommended for very best performance and especially if portion accuracy is important to you. Please be aware that the feeder does not “count’ kibbles, but tests have shown that an accuracy of +/- .1 to .2 ounce per portion per portion has been achieved for every two cycles with recommended kibbles. Most other cat food kibbles will work very well, but with so many shapes/sizes of kibbles on the market, it is impossible to predict exact results. Pyramid shaped kibble is not recommended. Performance is guaranteed with recommended food. A slow-speed power adapter is also optionally available later to help with extremely small portions. Please be advised that due to variance of kibble sizes and shapes, 100% portion accuracy may not be possible for all feed cycles.
